Desist from making derogatory comments: CM to TDP leaders

Amaravati: TDP national president and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu directed the party leaders to make only positive statements and restrain from making derogatory comments against anybody.

Naidu held a strategy committee meeting with party leaders at Undavalli on Wednesday. The TDP chief reviewed the progress of the ongoing cycle rallies being organised by the party across the State beginning from April 21. They would be continued till the end of this month.

The leaders informed him that the cycle rallies were organised successfully in 166 Assembly segments in the State till Wednesday and the rallies are yet to start in the remaining 9 Assembly segments.

During the meeting, the party leaders told him that the rallies were organised successfully in more than 2100 villages and 1774 small meetings were also conducted.

The MLAs and constituency in-charges participated in the rallies in more than 400 villages and on an average they covered at least 100 villages per day during the last four days.

Chandrababu Naidu announced that he would provide recognition to the better performing leaders in the rallies and ranks would also be given to them. The grades for the leaders will be in A, B and C categories.
