Kalyana Mahotsavams at Annavaram temple from today

Annavaram: All arrangements have been made to conduct eight-day Kalayana Mahotsavams of Lord Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy from Wednesday. A sum of Rs 40 lakh has been earmarked for the purpose. Yedurkolu Utsavam of the deities has been scheduled on Wednesday evening. 

According to temple executive officer Marisetty Jitendra, Dwajarohanam, Kankana Dharana and other rituals are slated for Thursday.  At 9 pm, the celestial wedding of Lord Satyanarayana Swamy with his Consort Goddess Rama will be held atop Annavaram hills. 

The Gramotsavam will be celebrated on the fifth day of the Kalyana Mahotsavam. Religious discourse is arranged on April 29 and 30 for the benefit of the devotees. Revenue and Endowments Minister K E Krishna Murthy will grace the celebrations as the chief guest.
