Minor rapes woman

Guntur: A 16-year-old youth raped a 25-year-old woman at Oppircherla village under Karempudi mandal in Guntur district on Tuesday. The victim was admitted to the local government hospital in Gurajala for treatment.

According to police, the accused Shaik Saidulu befriended a 26–year-old woman. When she was alone at her home, he threatened her and raped.

When she was in unconscious state, locals noticed and admitted her to the local government hospital for treatment. The accused was absconding. The police pressed clues team into service.   Police registered a case and took up investigation.
