Municipal Corporation of Tirupati gets HUDCO Award

Tirupati: Municipal Corporation of Tirupati (MCT) has bagged the Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) Award for outstanding contribution in the category of ‘social housing’ in pilgrim city.

On Wednesday, MCT Commissioner Ch Hari Kiran has received the HUDCO Award from the Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri in New Delhi.

The Union Minister and HUDCO higher authorities have appreciated Hari Kiran at a programme organised on the occasion of HUDCO’s 48th Foundation Day celebrations.

The MCT has completed the construction of more than 7,416 urban houses for the benefit of poor people in Tirupati under the direct supervision of Corporation Commissioner. In this connection, HUDCO has announced the meritorious award to the MCT.
