Congress activists to attend Akrosh rally 

Vijayawada: APCC president N Raghuveera Reddy said on Thursday that hundreds of Congress leaders and activists from Andhra Pradesh will take part in the Jana Akrosh rally to be taken out by the Congress party under the leadership of AICC president Rahul Gandhi at Ram Leela Maidan in New Delhi on April 29. 

Raghuveera said that the rally would be taken out protesting against the increasing atrocities on Dalits, Minorities and women in the BJP-ruled states. The AICC has given a call for Jan Akrosh rally to express resentment over the misuse of power by the BJP in the BJP-ruled states.

Farmers suicides increased in the country under the BJP rule, he said. The PCC president said former central ministers, state ministers and leaders of the Congress party in the state would participate in the rally.
