Did TDP woo Kanna Lakshminarayana?

Did the TDP make an effort to dissuade former Minister and Kapu leader Kanna Lakshminarayana from joining the YSRCP? Sources say Yes.

A minister from Vizag and another minister from Guntur met Kanna and held discussions with him. They asked him not to join the YSRCP.

However, the efforts fell through as the ministers could not get a clear assurance from the high command on giving TDP ticket to Kanna. Due to this, Kanna veered towards the YSRCP. The YSRCP agreed to give him the ticket he wanted. Meanwhile, the BJP moved in with alacrity and spoke to him. Due to this, his resignation from the BJP has been put on hold.
