Yanamala condemns judge Eswaraiah’s comments

Amaravati: Finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu took serious objection over the comments of former High Court judge V Eswaraiah and said it was a part of conspiracy to distance the BCs from the Telugu Desam Party.

Speaking to media at Amaravati, the finance minister on Friday said it was not good for a senior judge to make such comments on the ruling party. 
In fact, Ramakrishnudusaid the BCs were selected as judges for High Court only in stint of TDP.

“Nine members from BC community were selected as High Court judges and two including justice Eswaraiah were promoted as chief justices during the TDP rule. This is the history and we cannot forget it,” he said.

He said even BCs were given top priority in politics and other sectors only during the TDP tenure. “BCs were provided reservation in local bodies by the TDP and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu introduced several welfare schemes for the welfare of BCs,” he said. He also criticised the YSRCP for using the comments of justice Eswaraiah to expose the TDP against the BCs.
