Blankets distributed to leprosy patients

Kakinada: Blanket were distributed to leprosy patients at a programme organised by Gayatri Walkers Club at Leprosy Colony here on Friday.

Participating as chief guest, International Walkers regional vice-president M Prabhavathi said that charity and philanthropic acts certainly would give a person abundant satisfaction as well as delight.

She appreciated the club members’ decision to distribute blankets to the poor and needy leprosy patients.The Gayatri Walkers Club president, Maha Lakshmi, Annapurna, Vijaya Lakshmi, Neelima, Sundari and others participated.
