Chandrababu Naidu defaming PM to cover his failures: Rayalaseema Rashtra Samithi chief

Chittoor: Rayalaseema Rashtra Samithi (RRS) founder Kuncham Venkatasubba Reddy said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been defaming Prime Minister Narendra Modi to defend his failures and his incompetency in achieving Special Category Status (SCS) to Andhra Pradesh. He termed the proposed public meeting in Tirupati on April 30, demanding the BJP-led NDA government to grant SCS, is only to deceive people.

Speaking to The Hans India here on Friday, the RRS chief said the TDP, YSRCP and other political parties in the State have failed to come together for mounting pressure on the Central government for securing SCS to the State. The RRS leader sought the resignation of Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu and Chandrababu as they failed to get SCS to AP.

The RRS founder stated that his demand is to create separate state for Rayalaseema region. Reddy said that he submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to declare Rayalaseema as separate State. RRS district leaders and others were present.
