Did Amit Shah call up Jagan on Kanna Lakshminarayana?

TDP senior leader Varla Ramaiah has alleged that Kanna Lakshminarayana’s entry into the YSRCP was stalled at the last minute under the influence of BJP chief Amit Shah. He said Amit Shah called up YS Jagan asked him not to take Kanna Lakshminarayana into the party. This shows that the YSRCP is being controlled by the BJP.

But, the YSRCP has refuted these allegations. He said this is a rumour created in the Amaravati control room and peddled by pro-TDP media. 

The YSRCP leaders said if the BJP could stop Kanna from joining the TDP, why it did not stop Katasani Rambhupal Reddy from joining the TDP. They said that Kanna deferred his joining the YSRCP due to personal reasons, which would soon come out into the open.
