‘CSR activities of Emami benefitting the society’

Nellore: Emami Agrotech Limited, a part of Emami Group, deals with edible oil with brand names Healthy and Tasty, Best Choice, and Bake Magic, initiated Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities for the benefit of the surrounding districts of Nellore. 

Activities under taken were renovation of school buildings in Pantapalem, Epuru, and Pattapupalem villages. Emami has constructed a drinking water RO Plant at Gamalapalem village which is benefittig around 1,500 people. The Group has provided 200 LED lights to Doruvulapalem, Epuru, and Pantapalem villages for the safety and convenience of villagers. 

Other initiatives from Emami Agrotech are the construction of gram panchayat building at Pantapalem and organised four health camps in Doruvulapalem, Epuru, and Pantapalem and many villagers have taken benefit of the same. Company CEO Sudhakar Desai addressed the media stating that Emami management has always believed giving back to society though appropriate CSR activities and the same is an integral part of the Company’s business values. Emami Agrotech’s CSR approach comprises of focus in the sectors of medical services, education, community development, and women empowerment, the CEO stated.
