Chandrababu Naidu playing double standard: BJP MLA

Update: 2018-04-30 05:00 IST

Rajamahendravaram: City BJP MLA Dr Akula Satyanarayana  said that both Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) are trying to get political mileage by organising  agitations of Special Category Status.

Speaking to reporters at his office here on Sunday, the MLA  alleged that Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu sponsored SCS agitation to divert the attention of people from his administrative lapses. For four years, he kept silence on SCS and now asking for SCS, to keep his graph in high level, which is decreasing in the state.

``Why Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is opposing to take Rs 9,000 crore ready under Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV). Why he is not asking about Rs 34,000 crore earmarked to the state under clause 9th and 10th, he questioned. Chandrababu Naidu is still playing dual role on SCS  and trying to misguide the people,’’ the BJP MLA said.

YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy also taking SCS agitation as mass hysteria into the people to get credit over Chandrababu Naidu. Nothing will happen with the proposed meeting of TDP on April 30th in Tirupati and by YSRCP in Visakhapatnam.  The people will question Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu in Tirupati meeting why he was mum for four years and the people are not in a position to believe him. he added.
