Isolated rain forecast for coastal AP
Hyderabad: In a warning to Andhra Pradesh, the Met department bulletin said on Sunday that thunderstorms with gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam and East Godavari districts of North coastal Andhra Pradesh on May 2.
The forecast said light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at isolated places in the coastal districts from April 30 to May 3. No large change during the period May 4 to 6 is the weather outlook.
In Rayalaseema, dry weather has been forecast on April 30. The maximum temperature is likely to be around 41 to 43 in some parts of the region. According to the bulletin, rain occurred at isolated places in coastal Andhra Pradesh while dry weather prevailed in Rayalaseema. Paderu in Vishakhapatnam district recorded 3 cm of rain. The highest day temperature of 42 degrees Celsius was recorded in Anantapur.
