Naidu’s public meeting only to hoodwink people, alleges Jagan

Vijayawada: YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan Reddy said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s proposed public meeting in Tirupati on April 30 was only to hoodwink people.

Addressing at public meeting as part of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra at Vuyuru in Krishna district on Saturday, he said the Chief Minister diluted the Special Category Status during the last four years. He wondered as to how the same Chief Minister would conduct a public meeting in the name of demand for Special Category Status (SCS). He asked the Chief Minister whether the SCS would have come or not if MPs of Telugu Desam resigned for their posts. 
 
The Opposition leader held Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu responsible for lack of cash in ATMs. He alleged that Chandrababu Naidu shifted money to Singapore and other foreign countries.

Some money was stored by Chandrababu Naidu to spend in the next elections, he further said and added that the people should demand Rs 5000, if TDP offers Rs 3,000 per vote.  He said that Telugu Desam was claiming falsely that 40 lakh jobs were provided by government. He said that the public should know the reality. The local leaders of TDP and the ruling MLAs looted the sand, he said.  He said the TDP government failed to provide remunerative prices for crops including sugarcane. The other States were giving higher prices compared to Andhra Pradesh, he said.  

Jagan reiterated that he would provide free education to the people of all the sections if voted to power. YSR Congress leaders Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, K Parthasarathy, Vangaveeti Radha Krishna and several other leaders were present.
