Rest house for cops in Tirumala opened

Tirumala: TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal on Saturday inaugurated the newly constructed Police Rest House ‘Garuda’ in Tirumala. Speaking on the occasion, Tirupati Urban SP Abhishek Mohanty said the rest house with 45 rooms including standard 27 and deluxe 18 for the accommodation of police personnel coming from various places to Tirumala on pilgrimage. 

The room rent which is Rs 750 is affordable to all, he said, adding that any police from constable to Additional SP can avail the facility for stay in Tirumala. Tirumala TTD Joint Executive Officer K Sreenivas Raju, TTD in-charge CVSO Sivakumar Reddy senior police officials including Anantapur Range DIG J Prabhakar Rao, Kurnool Range DIG G Srinivas, Tirumala Additional SP Muralikrishna and others were present.
