Tirupati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has said the laws enacted in the Parliament have no sanctity as the Centre failed in implementing the AP Reorgansiation act in true spirit.

Particpating in ' Dharma Poratam" public meeting in Tirupati, the TDP Chief said that he staged dharnas in New Delhi demanding render justice to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh at the time of  bifurcation of the state . His party MPs also stalled the Rajya Sabha for special status to Andhra during adopting reorganization bill.  The then Congress led UPA assured to accord special status.

After coming to power,  the BJP led NDA announced special package in lieu of special status and then asked the Government to get as loan component only. He took strong exception to the centre for not granting special status on the pretext of  rejection by the 14 th Finance Commission.  Already 10 states were enjoying special status in the country.

In a scathing attack on the centre,  Chandrababu questioned for not coming to the rescue of  AP which plunged into financial crisis after the division of the state.  He said Polavaram project will be completed even the centre did not extend assistance.  It was TDP founder President NT Rama Rao who gave new definition to politics.  NTR was the force behind the formation of  non Congress governments at the centre.
