Visakhapatnam: Rajya Sabha member and YSR Congress Party senior leader V Vijayasai Reddy accused Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of being involved in corruption amounting to Rs 3 lakh crore. Reddy, with a strong note, said that he would never take rest till Chandrababu Naidu was sent to jail.

Addressing the gathering at the daylong protest in the city on Monday against deception, Vijayasai alleged that the Chandrababu Naidu was weakening the state financial system by indulging in corruption. ``Not only corruption involved at high level in the state, but the Chief Minister also involved in the Hawala Racket and other scams in international level tie-ups,’’ he said. Defending his allegations against Chandrababu Naidu, Reddy said that he would place all the evidences before Prime Minister.

“The Chief Minister is misleading the people in the state in the name of Dharma Porta Deeksha. After wasting four years, he is now announcing that he is fighting against the BJP. But, still he is maintaining strong lobby with the BJP and appointment of Maharashtra Minister’s wife as TTD Board member stands as a mirror image for Naidu’s double standard.

It is true that I met the Prime Minister in New Delhi and there was nothing wrong in meeting him. During my meeting I discussed about the state problems and urged him for sanction SCS to the AP. But, TDP leaders including Chief Minister are twisting my meeting with Prime Minister and indulge in mud-slinging,” Reddy points out.

After quitting from the NDA, the both Naidu and Lokesh are suffering with shivers every day with the fear that any day they would be behind the bars, the YSRCP leader alleged. Reddy said four years ago on the same day (April 30), both TDP and BJP had given assurance to accord Special Category Status to AP in Tirupati.

Large number student community rushed to the venue and shouted against the BJP and TDP. The leaders reminded about their supremo YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s restless agitations and protests during the past four years for SCS. The 12-hour protest was started after paying a floral tributes to late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy's statue in city.
