Woman kills daughter, self 

Kurnool: A woman hanged her three-year-old daughter before committing suicide by hanging  in her house at Sangala village in Chippagiri mandal in the district on Thursday. The deceased were identified as Suneetha, 23, and her daughter Sowmya.  

According to reports, Suneetha of Sangala village married Siva Rudra of the same village four years ago. The couple were blessed with two girls. Differences cropped up between them due to financial problems.

Depressed with the frequent quarrels with her husband, Suneetha reportedly hanged her daughter Sowmya and later herself from the ceiling when they were alone in the house. At the time of taking the extreme step, her younger daughter had gone out with her father Siva Rudra.

The husband found the bodies on returning home. Neighbours alerted police. Alur police registered a case and sent the bodies for autopsy to Alur general hospital.
