International students’ graduation day at Aditya
Kakinada: The graduation day celebrations of the International Students of Aditya Degree, PG & Engineering Colleges were conducted here on Saturday.
The programme began with the prayer song. Speaking on the occasion, the Vice-Chairman of Aditya Group of Educational Institutions, N Satish Reddy, who presided over the function, said that the students from 12 countries were pursuing their education in Aditya Educational Institutions.
He also said that Aditya Group was provided with all the necessary infrastructure to achieve excellence in the realm of education. Speaking on the occasion, the Ambassador of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chris Sunday Eze, who was the chief guest, lauded the management of Aditya Educational Institutions for their commitment to impart the best education with international standards and discipline.
The educational attache head of the embassy of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Sadiqullah Sahar, said that Aditya Degree, PG & Engineering Colleges played a major role in grooming the international students.
He also added that he had come to know about the success of the students in acquiring the knowledge. The Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Guinea, Dr Aminata Thiam, said that most of the students of Aditya Degree College had settled in excellent jobs after the completion of their degrees. She said that their country would continue its relations with Kakinada’s Aditya Degree College. As many as 270 international students belonging to 12 countries received their degrees.
Speaking on the occasion, the Academic Coordinator of Aditya Group of Degree & PG Colleges, BEVL Naidu, said that Aditya Degree College, Kakinada, achieved a lot of progress and development since its inception in 1998. He gave an account of the progress and development of the students of the college, several university ranks, 3,515 campus selections during the academic year 2017-18 and 1,141 campus selections.
The Chairman of Aditya Educational Institutions, N Sesha Reddy, and the Secretary, N Krishna Deepak Reddy, congratulated the international students who received their degrees on the occasion of Graduation Day.
The principals, Dr G Srinivasa Rao and Bulah, the international students coordinators, Paranjit and Md Jafar, faculty and international students were present on the occasion.
