Golden face replica for city’s Gangamma

 Tirupati: The famous Ganga Jatara this year will have a special attraction with the local goddess will be adorned with a face replica that was made of gold. It was the practice that on the last day of Ganga Jatara, the replica of goddess made of soil will be destroyed after devotees perform Pooja in large numbers. 

The temple management has decided to adorn this replica with a golden face. It was being taken out as a procession in the city on Saturday in which Minister for Industries N Amaranatha Reddy, MLA M Suguna, TTD Chairman Putta Sudhakar Yadav, TUDA Chairman G Narasimha Yadav, Temple Chairman RC Munikrishna and others took part.
