Minor girl sexually assaulted by two Inter students

Badvel (Kadapa): Even before the passage of 48 hours after one minor girl was raped by an elderly man at Dachepalli of Guntur district, a 16 year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by two students who were studying Intermediate at Sundaraiah Colony of Badvel town.  Though the incident took place late on Friday night, it came to light after the victim’s parents lodged a complaint with police on Saturday.

   The victim is also studying Inter in a private college 

The accused were identified as Krishna and Ramesh of Sundaraiah Colony. According to SI Chalapathi Rao, the victim is also studying Intermediate in a private college in Badvel town. Her parents are agriculture labourers. 

The accused entered her house when she was sleeping and when her parents were away from home on Friday evening. They forcefully carried her into the bushes and gangraped her and fled from the scene. 

After her parents came to the house,the victim informed the matter to them and they lodged a complaint with the police on Saturday morning. Police shifted her to the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) for medical examination. Police said the accused were arrested and a case was registered and investigation 
is on.
