Two die as truck runs amok

Guntur: Two persons died and eight others injured in a road accident when a truck ran amok at Kocharla village in Eepurumandalin Guntur district on Sunday.

According to Eepuru police, truck laden with cement bags travelling from Macherla to Vinukonda lost the control and rammed the bus passengers standing near the bus stop.

Two persons died in the mishap and eight others were injured. The deceased was identified as Pavan Narayana (65) and K Anjaiah(40). Eepuru police are investigating the case.
