Boy killed, girl injured in fire crackers blast

Samarlakota: A five-year old boy Chakra Rao was killed and his elder sister Shravani was severely injured in a blast occurred in a closed fire cracker manufacturing unit at Kondaiahpet locality in Peddapuram on Sunday. 

The injured Shravani has been shifted to the Government Hospital in Kakinada for better treatment. On receiving information, District Superintendent of Police Gunni Vishal rushed to the spot. Deputy Chief Minister N Chinarajappa directed the officials to provide medicare to the injured.
