MP, MLA sit on a day-long strike

Visakhapatnam: Demanding the Centre for immediate announcement of railway zone with Visakhapatnam as headquarters, Anakapalle MP M Srinivasa Rao and Visakhapatnam South  MLA VGanesh Kumar  sat on a day-long hunger strike before the Visakhapatnam Railway Station on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Srinivasa Rao questioned the BJP  government for the delay in announcement of railway zone. Later, activists took out a rally from railway  station to divisional railway manager’s office and submitted a representation demanding the government for railway zone. In the evening, they called off  their fast.
