Villagers demand power restoration

Nellore: Farmers of Takkellapadu village in Vinjamur mandal staged protest in front of the electricity sub-station on Sunday demanding restoration of power  in the village. They said many electric poles uprooted in the village due to recent gales. Officials have not restored them.  

They said even though they had requested the authorities to restore power, there was no response from them. Farmers complained that officials were asking to erect the poles in the village and then only they connect power lines. They demanded the authorities to take measures for restoring power immediately.
