Junior lecturers oppose Inter Supplementary in hot summer
Vijayawada: The Government Junior Lecturers Association (GJLA) expressed their displeasure over the government move to conduct inter advanced supplementary examinations in the hot summer.
Speaking to media here on Thursday, GJLA joint secretary V Ravi said that the Board of Intermediate Education had released the examination schedule for the advanced supplementary without taking into consideration the heat wave and the health of students and lecturers.
He said the first-year exams would be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon and the second-year examination will be from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm from May 14 to 22. As per the agreement between the Intermediate Board and GJLA, the remuneration for invigilation, spot valuation and DA were pending with the introduction of new software SCHEMAX, he said and added the lecturers were facing problems of late payment with new software.
