Amaravati: The TDP is considering two major agitational programmes to mount pressure on the Centre over SCS. First one is the party will organise six months of protests in New Delhi from June onwards to expose the failures of BJP government, particularly U-turns of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The second one is holding massive cycle rallies to Amaravati from every Assembly constituency to Amaravati. They would all be timed to reach the capital the same day.

An extensive discussion was held in the state-level meeting of the party on these two proposals. Party sources said party president N Chandrababu Naidu will take a decision on these two proposals.

Meanwhile, the party will organise a public meeting in Guntur on Muslim minorities on May 14, then Mini-Mahanadus at all the Assembly segments and District Mahanadus at district level this month. In addition, Naidu will take part in another public meeting on May 22 in Vizag similar to Dharma Porata Deekshas at Vijayawada, Tirupati.

In the meeting, Naidu reviewed the performance of all the MLAs and constituency in-charges, based on various parameters including availability of the leaders in the constituency, participation in party activities.

While some leaders like Chintamaneni Prabhakar stood in the first among all the MLAs in these rankings and other leaders including Dulipalla Narendra, Vamsi Mohan, Bode Prasad, Kinjarapu Atchannaidu, Radhakrishna, Jogeswara Rao, Sriram Rajagopal, Kolla Lalitha, Thota Trimurthulu and Rama Naidu and others followed. All these leaders performance was more than 70 per cent better as per the parameters.
