BJP stages protest against attack on Amit Shah

Kakinada: The BJP leaders of East Godavari staged a dharna at Bhanugudi Centre here on Friday condemning the TDP workers attack on party National President Amit Shah at Alipiri near Tirumala. 

Addressing a gathering, BJP East Godavari district unit president Yenimireddy Malakondayya  said the incident has exposed the true colours of the ruling TDP in the state. 

He criticised the TDP government for violating democratic norms and slammed the police for their inability to provide proper security for Amit Shah, who was under Z-plus security. Corporators and senior leaders participated in the protest rally taken out from the district police office to Bhanugudi centre.
