BJP takes out rally, burns CM’s effigy
Eluru: BJP activists resorted to rasta roko on GNT Road at the old bus stand centre here on Saturday in protest against the attack on BJP National President Amit Shah at Alipiri on Friday.
The activists took out a rally led by BJP City Committee from Kundi Centre at One Town area and passed through Clock Tower Centre, Rain Bazaar and reached the old bus stand centre. Later, they burnt the effigy of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
BJP City Committee President Nagam Siva addressing the workers expressed concern over the attack on BJP National President Amit Shah. He termed the attack as a heinous act.
BJP District Committee General Secretary Sudhakar Krishna, General Secretaries Gadi Rambabu, ND Bhaskara Rao, Pulavala Sai, Gandikota Rani, Nerusu Nelaraja, Jampana Pawan and others took part in the the rasta roko.
