Civic teachers transfers soon 

Guntur: The government is likely to issue a GO in four days allowing transfers of teachers working in municipalities and municipal corporation schools. Municipal administration minister P Narayana reported to have agreed to give permission for mutual and spouse transfers and on medical grounds on the request of municipal  teachers’ unions.

Sources in the municipal administration department said with the GO to be issued in next week, the transfers are expected to be completed before May 25. They said more than 1,000 transfers will be effected during the period.  Director of municipal administration V Kanna Babu will release the schedule for transfers to be conducted by regional directors of municipal administration.
