Two workers electrocuted

Guntur: Two agriculture workers were electrocuted when they came in contact with a live electrical wire at Gorantla village under Sattenapalli rural police station limits in Guntur district on Friday.According to police, agriculture worker Madhu, 17, came in contact with a live electric wire while standing on a tractor accidentally and died of electrical shock.

Moshi, 30, who was accompanying him, tried to rescue Madhu but he was also electrocuted. Their bodies were shifted to the local government hospital for conducting post-mortem. On receiving information, Sattenapalli SI SK Nazeer visited the spot. Later, police registered a case and took up investigation.
