The two leaders participated in TDP’s mini-Mahanadu held here on Monday with the local MLA NVSN Varma in chair. They came down heavily on the YSRCP and BJP. They stated that Dharma PorataDeeksha would be launched on May 22 in Visakhapatnam.

They said that cycle rallies are being organised in various localities. The Center’s attitude is being exposed at Mahanadu events being held at various Assembly constituencies.

Yanamala said that Adarana scheme would be launched on May 18 with distribution of  toolsto various artisans. The government will sell handloom textiles at half price for the benefit of the weavers and artisans.

Of the Rs 70,000 crore expenditure under welfare schemes, Rs 11000 crore is being spent through the BC Corporation and Rs 9000 crore through SC Corporation and Rs 4000 crore through ST Corporation.  The allocation to Kapu Corporation has been hiked to Rs 1300 crore as against the normal Rs 1000 crore, he said.

The Centre has been pushing the state into troubles by stopping release of funds to it. Unable to stomach the development in the state, retired officials and opposition leaders have been dashing letters to the Center to create problems for the state, he said in an angry tone.
