Ongole: Noted balladeer and revolutionary singer Gaddar said the people in Andhra have no confidence in the fight of politicians for the Special Category Status and that is the reason, why majority of the public not interested to participate in the movement.

Participating in a private programme in Prakasam district on Monday, Gaddar said the politicians are supporting the corporate sector and working for the benefits of corporate companies rather than welfare of common man.

He asked the public to choose from the supporters of people or corporate supporters in the next elections. Gaddar said that he observed the Andhra people are feeling that the fight for Special Category Status has become a political stunt of parties in the wake of elections and that is why the movement lost public support.

He mentioned that all sections of people participated in the Telangana movement but the government is catering to only 10 per cent of people, who are corporate and politicians.

He said that the KCR promised that a Dalit will be made as chief minister of Telangana, but after the state is achieved with 100 per cent participation of people, he turned back his word and representing the corporate people, who are less than 10 per cent.

He questioned the reason behind the politicians who supported the demonetisation and GST first but opposing them now. He said that it is the bad luck of people that the armed struggle of revolutionary parties is confined to forests but not spread into concrete jungles.
