Anil Ambani willing to invest in Amaravati

Amaravati: Anil Ambani, the business magnate of Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, on Monday held talks with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on the progress of projects in the state and also spoke about opportunities to invest in Amaravati.

The Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group has been involved in electricity and infrastructure projects in Nellore and Visakhapatnam. The Chief Minister’s Office said in a release that it was a courtesy call made by Ambani, who showed enthusiasm to know the development and progress of construction of greenfield capital city Amaravati.

Ambani was willing to invest in the capital city on various proposals, but they all were in pre-mature stage, observed an official at the CM Office. Before the meeting Naidu, Ambani visited Kanakadurga temple in Vijayawada.
