Padayatra aimed to highlight people’s problems: Vijaysai

Visakhapatnam: YSR Congress Party general secretary and Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy said that on the completion of the 2,000-km long Praja Sankalpa Yatra of YSRCP chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, the party has decided to stage massive dharnas in all the collectorates across the state on various people’s grievances.

Expressing solidarity to Jagan’s padayatra, Vijaya Sai Reddy taken up padayatra covering 72 divisions of Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation. As part of his marathon walk, Vijaysai Reddy started his walk from Peda Jalaripeta located in Visakhapatnam South Assembly constituency on Monday.

Speaking to media, Reddy said the MLAs who failed to address the problems of people at the local level are being registered and those would be bring to the party chief notice and after coming into power the issues would be attended.

The majority voters in the South constituency are fishermen community and when they met Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu urging him to accord them the SC status, Naidu insulted the community.
