The CCS cops produced the accused before the media on Monday. Speaking to The Hans India, DSP (Crime) Ravishankar Reddy said that house-breaking cases have come down drastically when compared to previous year due to intensifying night patrolling, installation of Locked House Monitoring System (LHMS) in the houses and surveillance through CCTV cameras.

He gave a call to people to utilise the LHMS for prevention of house burglaries. According to District Crime Records Bureau (DCRB), the Urban district recorded 53 house breaking cases from March to May in 2017 where as in the same period in 2018 (till May 13), the number of house burglaries have recorded only 21.
