Vizag girl bags first runner-up title

Visakhapatnam: Disha Palnati, a Class VII student of Navy Children School, Visakhapatnam, won the Queen of Universe- 2018 first runner up crown and bagged the Miss Talent-2018 title at the International Little Miss Universe-2018.

The contest was held in Turkey from May 4h to May 9. Disha competed in the little category in the age group of 8 to 12 years. As many as 40 children from various countries, including India, Russia, South Africa, Thailand, Vietnam and the UAE, participated in the event.

The pageant included national costume, masquerade dress and fashion show.  Disha wore a mix of Southern and Eastern Indian costume for the national dress round.

Earlier, in the 17th edition of International Children’s Festival of Culture, Fashion and Arts, she had bagged the Best Fashion Star and Catwalk Model subtitle also.

Disha is a dedicated and focused child and bagging the title on a global platform has boosted her confidence immensely and it is a stepping stone for future opportunities, her schoolmates, faculty and others said while congratulating the girl.
