Kruparani foresees Congress victory in 2019
Srikakulam: People of the state will vote for Congress in 2019 elections, predicted former Union Minister and Congress party Karnataka elections in-charge Dr Killi Kruparani.
Addressing a press conference at the party district office here on Wednesday, she pointed out that Congress got more votes in five districts in Karnataka where more Telugu families are residing.
It is a sign that Telugu speaking people are having trust on Congress party, she said. Even though BJP bagged more seats in Karnataka Assembly elections, Congress received three per cent more votes than BJP and it proves that fall of BJP has started in south, she elaborated.
She demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi fulfil the assurances made during the division of the state and elections. Former MLC Peerukatla Viswa Prasad, Youth Congress state general secretary Ch Sateesh, party senior leaders Dr K Rammohan Rao, Ratnala Narasimha Murthy and Mustaq Ahmad were present.
