Students to identify NRIs in villages

Vijayawada: The Janmabhoomi, Andhra Pradesh Government's initiative, has designed a programme to identify the NRIs at village- level with the help of students and local officials by conducting a survey.

The main aim of the survey is to identify the NRIs village-wise and involve them in the government schemes for betterment of society. The students of IITs and IIMs will involve in the survey, along with local engineering colleges.

As many as 120 students have been selected under the internship programme. The students would tour in the selected mandals and collect the data of NRIs. The students would be given certificate and recommendation letter for their service and performance.
