BJP will lose floor test in Karnataka: Deve Gowda
Tirumala: Former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda along with his family members offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on Friday. Deve Gowda came with his family members to seek the blessings of Lord on the occasion of his 86th birthday and was received with full temple honours by the temple officials and led him for darshan. Later he was presented theertha prasadams and portrait of Lord Venkateswara by the TTD officials and Vedic pundits rendered ashirvachanams.
Deputy Executive Officer Harindranath and others were present during the former PM’s visit to the temple. Later, Deve Gowda took part in a meeting held by his followers in a private hotel in Tirupati to celebrate his birthday.
Speaking to media, the former PM exuded confidence that his son H D Kumaraswamy will win in the fight against the BJP and become Chief Minister of the Karnataka state. The BJP is going to fail miserably in floor test in the Assembly on Saturday, he predicted.
