Deputy Tahsildar, VRO in ACB net

Kadapa: ACB sleuths have arrested Kamalapuram Deputy Tahasildar Patan Alikhan and Kalamalla VRO S K Bashavali on the charges accepting bribe from a farmer for issuing 'e' pass book and 10-1 Adangal  on Monday.

According to the ACB DSP Nagaraju, one Golla  Obulesu  of Kalamalla village of Kamalapuram mandal is having 3 acres of land in the village. Following the guide lines of the government, he applied for 'e' pass book 10-1 Adangal  3 years ago.  

In this connection, he approached Kamalapuram MRO office for several time but in vain. The accused demanded Rs 15,000 for issuing e-pass book.  

In this connection, the victim met the ACB officials on Sunday in Kadapa and they  nabbed the accused while accepting bribe from the farmer at MRO office on Monday evening.  ACB circle inspectors MSudhakar Reddy and KRamachandra Reddy participated in the raid.
