Karnataka electorate taught a fitting lesson to Modi: Kotla
Kurnool: Former Union minister, Kotla Jaya Suryaprakash Reddy said that the electorate have taught a befitting lesson to Modi government in the Karnataka elections. The Kurnool district unit on Sunday celebrated the occasion by bursting fire crackers and cake cutting at the party office.
Speaking on the occasion, he said B S Yeddyurappa losing no confidence motion in Karnataka Assembly is a big slap to the BJP government. The Karnataka voters unable to bear the dictatorship rule of Modi have taught him a befitting lesson in the elections, he said.
The BJP leaders have tried their every level best to lure the MLAs of Congress and JD(S) with huge amount and other gifts, he said but the MLAs not fall prey to the sops and showed loyalty to their respective parties.
He hoped the same spirit would continue in the ensuing general elections in 2019 and asserted that Congress will form government at the Centre and Rahul Gandhi would be the next Prime Minister.
After Congress Party forms the government, Rahul Gandhi would ink his first signature on Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh, stated Kotla. Kurnool District Congress Committee (DCC) president P Lakshmi Reddy said the future of BJP has darkened with the results of Karnataka elections.
Former Zillah Parishad Chairman Akepogu Venkataswamy, Sardar Bucchi Babu, former MLA, Madan Gopal, YV Ramana, Ashok Rathnam and others participated in victory rally organised on the occasion.
