Red sanders smuggling: Five held 

Tirupati: The Red Sander Anti-Smuggling  Task Force Police have arrested five local red sander smugglers on Monday at Pulibonu of Seshachalam forest. While the RSASTF police team, led by RSI Vasu, was combing for smugglers in the forest, police observed that five smugglers were moving with five red sander logs.  

Police arrested them and seized the logs. All the arrested are local smugglers and they hailfrom Rangampeta of Chandragiri mandal and Tirupati rural.  The arrested smugglers are N Nagaraju,( previously  involved in one case in 2016),  M Chandraiah,  (involved in two cases in 2015), both fromRangampeta in Chandragiri Mandal, K Srinivasulus/o Mohana, Tatithopu, C Pratap Reddy, Rosireddy from Indira Colony of Chandragiri Mandal, Y Prakash Reddy and  Y ChangalReddy.
