Burglar held, 3.5 lakh stolen cash seized

Tirupati: Tirupati Crime police held a burglar G Srinivasulu, resident of Tiruchanur Panchayat, on Tuesday in a cash theft case and seized stolen money Rs 3.5 lakh from him.
According to DSP Ravisankar Reddy, the accused G Srinivasula is cab driver and has been maintaining close relations with furniture shop owners Krishnamurthy and Jithendra. With this relation, he was going to that shop and used to chat with them.
On April 14 this year, Srinivasulu managed to get the second set of shop keys and stole Rs 3.5 lakh cash from the shop. Later, he fled from Tirupati and stayed in Madanapalli. On a tip off, Tirupati CCS Police arrested Srinivasulu and recovered the amount from him. police sent the accused to judicial remand.
