Spurned lover attempts suicide

Vizianagaram: A 20-year-girl tried to commit suicide after her beau betrayed her. This incident took place at Salut town in the district on Tuesday. K Prithvi (24) and P Gowthami (20), residents of Salut, are in love for the past few years.

He assured that he would marry her and had physical relationship with her.  But now, he doesn’t want to tie nuptial knot with her. Unable to digest that he had cheated her, she consumed kerosene to end life.

However, her parents found her in an unconscious condition and shifted her to Maharajah General Hospital here. Now, she is recovering and police registered a case against Prithvi.
