Lord rides Simha Vahanam

Tirupati: On the third day of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Govindaraja temple, Lord decorated as Ananta Jaimurti rode on Simha Vahanam accompanied by caparisoned elephants, kolatas and bhakti music of devotees.

The Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to deities in the morning and later in evening Unjal Seva was performed. The utsava idols were paraded on Muthyapu Pandiri Vahanam at night. During the Brahmotsavam, the Lord appeared in various avatars with glittering flower, jewellery and silk robes every day.

Pontiffs Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swami, Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swami, local temples Deputy EO Varalakshmi, AEO Udayabhaskar Reddy, Superintendent Jnana Prakash and other temple officials and devotees participated in the grand Brahmotsavam events throughout the day.
