Congress protests Fuel Price Hike in Guntur

 Guntur: The Congress leaders protested at Rajiv Gandhi statue in Guntur city on Friday, opposing abnormal hike in petrol price.  

They blamed the Centre for its failure to check increase of petrol and diesel prices and imposing additional burden on the common man and middle class people.

Addressing the gathering, the party Guntur West in-charge, Savaram Rohit said that during the BJP ruling, petrol and diesel prices were abnormally hiked. 

Though oil prices were coming down in the international market, the petrol and diesel prices were not coming down in the country.

He demanded that the Centre reduce oil prices taking problems of common man into consideration.
 
Former MLA Chadalavada Jayarambabu, VGTM UDA former chairman Vanukuri Srinivasa Reddy were among those participated.
