No Loan Waiver for eligible, Farmers complain to Jagan

Akiveedu: YSRCP president and opposition leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s marathon walk ‘Praja Sankalpa Yatra’ started at Peda Kapavaram village in Akiveedu mandal on Friday morning.

Jagan covered Peda Kapavaram, Chinakapavaram, Gummuluru, Taratavala villages and reached Akiveedu in the evening. 

During his walk, Jagan received memoranda from various sections of people on their problems. Some farmers met him at Peda Kapavaram village and complained that even though they were eligible, no loan waiver was implemented for them. 

In Chinapakavaram village, aqua farmers led by Yandagandi Srinu and Gottumukkala Suribabu met the opposition leader and explained the problems faced by the aqua farmers.  

They told him that in spite of farmers cultivating prawn in the area, the purchasers' syndicate was not allowing them to get minimum price for their prawn products. 

Following the syndicate of the purchasers, the prawn farmer have been incurring a loss of nearly Rs 1.5 lakh per acre, they informed the YSRCP leader.

Temporary ANM nurses of government hospitals also met  Jagan and submitted the memorandum to him on their problems. 

They were getting meager wages on temporary jobs and requested him to represent their issues to the government and regularise their services.

YSRCP Leaders Vanka Ravindra, Gadiraju Subbaraju, former MLA Patapati Sarraju, PVL Narasimha Raju, Moka Parvati, Jaggurotu Vijay, Nandyala Sitaramaiah, Gunda Sundara Ramaiah Ambati Ramesh and others participated in the marathon walk of the opposition leader.
