Vijayawada Municipal Corporation school children Free sports camp concludes

 Vijayawada: Students studying in Vijayawada Municipal Corporation schools should excel in studies as well as sports to prove their talent and participate in national and international competitions, wished Mayor Koneru Sridhar.

He was addressing a gathering to mark the end of summer sports camp organised for VMC school children.

VMC Commissioner J Nivas said that students who excel in sports would also be good in studies. He said that students should strive to get recognition in all fields. 

The government was giving equal importance to sports and education.
 
The students should continue sports even after the school reopens.

Deputy mayor G Venkataramana, Traffic and Sports chairman Ch Gandhi, SAAP chairman Ankamma Chowdary and others were present.
