YS Jagan assures to rename West Godavari district as Alluri district

YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday addressed a public meeting during the Praja Sankalpa Yatra at Akiveedu in West Godavari district.

During the meeting, he promised of naming the West Godavari District after freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju.

YS Jagan stated that the TDP government failed to honour a great leader such as Alluri Sitsrama Raju.

The decision was taken to rename West Godavari district as Alluri district following the leaders of Kshatriya community submitting a representation in this regard.
